Online Course - Successful Beekeeping

A course for beginning and experienced beekeepers. Sessions will be available on Youtube via a private link monthly, starting in February and ending in November. We will also do several live sessions, where Matt will be available for questions and to problem-solve things you may be seeing. These will be announced as they are planned.

This course will cover all the information that you would need to have a successful first year of beekeeping, but also address content geared toward more experienced beekeepers working through issues in your hives and time-saving tips and tricks as you grow your apiary. We will look at basic bee biology, equipment options, attaining bees, making honey, pests/pathogens/parasites, wintering successfully, the hive mind, the instincts of honeybees and many many techniques to become a better keeper of bees and also the tactics to increase not just success but production and efficiency as well.

Enrollment in this course qualifies you for invites to all open yard learning days hosted by Lance Honey Farms throughout the season.
